Cook you some noodles…

blog25062011

The lovely handmade goodies from CookYouSomeNoodles captured my eyes in the middle of the night when I was looking for some talented designers online. And when I read about her profile, it just cracked me up!

“My shop name CookYouSomeNoodles is referenced from a 1996 Hong Kong martial arts/comedy film called Forbidden City Cop. Hubby (boyfriend at the time) and I watched it a while back and there was a bit in it where the main character was having a full heated argument with his wife, and then she suddenly says “Are you hungry? I’ll make you some noodles”. The husband stops mid-sentence, shrugs his shoulders and then says “What the hell.” ”

and I couldn’t stop myself picturing two people having arguments and suddenly someone said “Do you want some noodles?” It’s really funny… and kinda of sweet…
